The USCIS Afghan Support Center is taking place Wednesday, August 16 through Saturday, August 19, 2023. This is a great opportunity to connect our Afghan neighbors to additional services and support they need to rebuild their lives in our local communities.

Some of the organizations available to provide services and information include:

• USCIS – will be available to answer questions
• Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals will offer help with re-parole and intake for asylum applications and other immigration-related legal services.

Attend a listening session,USCIS will be hosting two listening sessions::

• Housing Listening Session: The U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement and Housing and Urban Development will be hosting a listening session on housing challenges on Aug. 16, 2023 from 11: 00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (see attached flyer).
• Immigration Listening Session: The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS will be hosting a listing session on Aug. 17, 2023 from 1;30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Afghan Support Center.
