La Sociedad Americana Contra El Cáncer dio a conocer la publicación de las nuevas guías para la detección del cáncer de seno. Entre los cambios, las nuevas recomendaciones indican que todas las mujeres deberán comenzar a realizarse un mamograma (mamografía) cada año a partir de los 45 años de edad, con la opción de cambiar a un mamograma cada dos años a partir de los 55 años de edad.
